Many women in India's rural villages don't have access to indoor toilets. Instead of privacy, they face humiliation and inconvenience while relieving themselves.
One woman in a northern Indian village has been leading an effort to direct government funds for simple squat toilets, and her efforts have helped the lives of women in her hometown.
